Iris photography has no harmful effects on the health of your eyes and is by no means uncomfortable. We don't need too strong a light for the exposure, so you don't have to worry about danger or distracting stimuli.

Please take disinfectant and wipes with you!

Soft contact lenses can remain in the eye.\nHowever, if you have hard contact lenses, we recommend removing them before the photo shoot due to the light reflection.\n\nNevertheless, we recommend that you do the photo shoot without contact lenses in order to achieve the best possible results.

In principle, the shooting is permitted for children from the age of 2 years. In order to be able to carry out an uncomplicated shooting, we recommend iris photography for children from the age of 4 or a minimum height of 110 cm.\nOur tip: If the child shows interest and wants an iris photo for itself, it will be fun and Joy works safely !\nIt always depends on the child itself how the child reacts to the camera and the light. It is important that the eyes can remain open for a few seconds. For a successful iris photo we need a few minutes of concentration and cooperation.

A white mask can reflect off the flash and reflect in the iris, especially in dark eyes. Better to wear a black mask or without one.

Unfortunately, immortalizing the irises of our little friends is not possible.

DATA PROTECTION is very important to us!\nYour data and recordings are stored on our server with our headquarters in Germany. The photo and image files of your order will be deleted six weeks after the successful delivery of your product.

Photographing the iris does not take long. After a few minutes we already have the pictures “in the can”.

The individual image processing takes about 5 to 7 working days. You will then receive a notification to release your edited image for printing. You can also express change requests here.\nAfter you have approved the print, you will receive your desired product within 28 working days. The delivery time also depends on the order situation.

Yes! Photography, image processing, printing and shipping of your product is included in the price.\n\nAfter further agreements, such as express delivery or special sizes, shipping costs may arise.

If the order cannot be opened, please make sure that it is a 9-digit number when entering your shooting code.\nThe machine may freeze and the touchscreen may no longer work, or the camera may not move and/or find it Eye not.\nThis is very rare but not serious. Our way of working:

The size of the iris is proportional to the original. No color changes are made during image processing. The original photo is photographed with neutral light. After printing, the iris may vary in color compared to the original. Each iris is different in color structure, color intensity and sharpness. An iris has 13 million pigments. Our shop specializes in bringing out the individual pigments and structures that are not visible when looking at the iris or in the mirror. We do not change the color structure, nor are deviating colors filtered.

Since the cornea is in front of the iris, as is the chamber of the eye, the iris cannot always be uniformly sharp and detailed.

The iris becomes slightly sharper without contact lenses.Colors from near and far: If individual color pigments of the iris are close to each other, e.g. yellow + cyan, this results in far green and e.g. magenta + yellow = orange. Therefore do not accept any complaints in terms of iris sharpness as well as colors. The work process from the recording to the finished product is the same for all customers; only the eyes of the customer vary.

The customer receives a good to print where he can specify any change requests, as far as this is feasible. If the good is not released for printing, it can still be printed after 10 days. After approval for printing, we decline any liability for no attribution or wrong layout.

The photos are taken with a full format (26 MB) camera in the macro range on a self-service machine.The digital data are not included in the price as the names are also charged separately.

Print We print your photos using the latest UV print technology, i.e. environmentally friendly and durable. Glass We print on 6 mm thick real solid glass, which gives a 3D effect to the image. The high-quality appearance will be a real eye-catcher in your home. You can use your glass picture in many ways. In order to be able to hang up your picture, you need a specially designed hanging system. 

Canvas Canvases have served as a surface for painted artworks for centuries. The structure of the canvas gives each picture a special touch. With a photo canvas you combine this painting character with your iris. The photo print is pin-sharp, the typical surface structure of the canvas is retained. This is stretched on a 20mm or 40 mm thick wooden frame.

Digital file You will receive the processed iris photo file in high resolution (26 million pixels jpg and tiff file) by email.

There are commercially available self-adhesive brackets for hanging up the glass picture.\nIt is important to note the weight.\nTo secure it, however, it is advisable to mount metal brackets from below just for safety and to check the adhesive points from time to time when dusting off the picture.
